"We Serve" Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac and St. Clair Counties

The Port Huron Host Lions and District 11-D2  introduce Governor James White; for the Lions'  2023 - 2024 year.
Lions International District 11D2 encompasses Huron, Lapeer, Sanilac, and Saint Clair Counties.  Our District membership is proud to live by the organization’s motto: You can Help! “We Serve,” and strive to meet Lions International vision “to be the global leader in community and humanitarian service". District 11D2 is made up of 48 Lions clubs 3 of which are Lioness Lions clubs with about 1320 members, and 4 Leo clubs. As members of the world’s largest humanitarian service organization, our efforts benefit those in need on a daily basis, and in times of disaster at home and around the world.

We, District clubs, the Multiple (Michigan) District clubs and Lions Clubs International not only provide eye glasses to those in need, but do so much more. We help fund eye surgery for those who cannot afford it. We provide guide dogs for the blind, operate a camp for visually impaired and hard of hearing youth, provide screening for glaucoma and diabetes and support International's disaster relief. We also support Girl and Boy Scout programs, services for Senior citizens, and participate in a youth exchange program. These are just a few of the many services we provide and causes we support. If you wish to become a part of this great organization, please contact us.

The Governor's Monthly Newsletter reserves space for small but focused ads from our patrons' businesses. Please check out our very reasonable rates and reach a large audience of Michigan Lions.
